Perry’s victory monument honored one of three sites in Ohio

Never mind that the 352-foot-high Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial is closed all summer for repairs. The visitors center, filled with information about the War of 1812 and the Battle of Lake Erie, remains open. And special programming is scheduled throughout the summer.
